It was nice to have a good turnout for the first navigational rally of 2025. The beginner class was larger with a mix of experienced drivers with new navigators to complete first timers. The roads and weather were good with the snow starting just as the rally was ending. For some, that made for an interesting drive home, for others it was a training ground for the February 15 all night Snowy Safari.
Thank you to our checkpoint crews, Christina, Gord, Tristan, Frank, Peter, Steve and Teresa. Roger helped me measure the route and green crewed it. He and Brandon did the route check on Friday and Brandon did course opening and CP6 with Tristan on Saturday.
Another fun event, thanks to everybody that competed or helped out.
Our next SNATR is on March 22 running from Brantford to Port Dover. Details will be published soon.
