KWRC is holding it's annual banquet on Saturday January 17th, 2015 in Ingersoll. This will be a similar format to the previous years with a buffet dinner served about 6:30 PM a guest speaker talking about rally experiences afterwards. It's a very social time.

This year our esteemed speaker is Jimmy Brandt, a co-driver of note whos rally history goes back to 1974 when he saw the Lancia Stratos's in Michigan's UP. If you haven't met Jimmy, you need to. Forty years of co-driving and a huge array of drivers, don't miss this.

The venue is Martin's shop in Ingersoll, 174 Thames St. S. It's not pretty but we clean it up and make it look as nice as possible for a workplace. It sort of like decorating the gym at high school for a dance; no mater what you do it's still a gym.

174 Thames St. S. is on the main drag in town, behind the parking lot for the CIBC at the corner of Thames and King St. It's up a bit of an alleyway but there are parking lots in front and at the rear (off Oxford. St.).It helps if you can park in the lots and avoid parking in the alley.

The meal will be roast beef and ham, with a variety of potatoes and vegetables. Soft drinks and hot cider will be available, but we don't have a license so we don't serve alcohol. As usual there will likely be a variety of desserts, some of the members bring their own creations. There is no charge for the evening. It helps if you can bring your own plates and cutlery, as we don't have enough for everybody.

The event happens with the hard work and dedication of several club members who pitch in to get all the setup and cooking done.

If you are planning on attending please let us know so we can put enough water in the soup. Email to martinl@oxford.net
